Engineering consultancies usually sell hours. Hours reward slowness. We sell deliverables, so the incentive is to get you the right answer and move on.
Scoping call
Thirty minutes, no charge. You describe the process and where you are stuck. We tell you what engineering you actually need — sometimes that is less than you expected.
Written proposal
A scope statement listing every document you will receive, the fee, and the schedule. One page, no surprises.
Design sprint
Two to three weeks for a design basis, longer for a full package. A mid-point review so nothing arrives as a shock at the end.
Handover
Native files, not just PDFs. A walkthrough with your team. Thirty days of follow-up questions included.
Why fixed fee
Time-and-materials engineering has a structural problem: the supplier is paid more for taking longer, and the client carries all the scope risk. Fixed fee moves that risk to us, which is where it belongs, because we are the ones who can estimate the work.
It also makes us say no. If a scope is genuinely unbounded — a process still changing weekly, chemistry not yet settled — we will tell you it is too early rather than open a meter.

What you own
Everything, outright, on final payment — drawings, simulation files, calculations, datasheets. We retain no residual licence over your process and no right to reuse your chemistry. Confidentiality agreements are signed before technical detail is exchanged.
Working remotely
Most of this work is document-based and is delivered remotely, with review calls at agreed milestones. Site visits are scheduled around commissioning and factory acceptance testing, where being physically present genuinely matters.
What we will tell you honestly
- When your process is not ready for the engineering you are asking for
- When a cheaper piece of work would answer your question
- When the economics do not close, even if you would rather they did
- When the job needs a specialist we are not
