Frequently asked questions.

What does a process design studio actually do?

We convert chemistry into a plant. That means closing a mass and energy balance, sizing equipment, producing PFDs and P&IDs, and issuing a package a fabricator or EPC can build from.

We only have lab data. Is it too early to talk?

No — it is the cheapest point to catch a scale-up problem. Heat removal, solids handling and solvent recovery decide whether a route survives, and all three are visible from bench data.

Do you build the plant?

We design it and support procurement and commissioning. Fabrication and construction go to vendors, and we help you select and technically qualify them.

Which simulators do you use?

Aspen Plus and HYSYS for the process model, HTRI or Aspen EDR for exchangers, and DWSIM where you want an open model you can keep and run yourself.

How is an engagement priced?

Fixed fee against a defined deliverable, agreed after a scoping call. You know the number before work starts.

Who owns the drawings and models?

You do, outright, on final payment. We keep no residual licence over your process.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes, before any technical detail is shared. Send yours or use ours.

Do you work with clients outside India?

Yes. Most work is document-based and delivered remotely, with site visits scheduled around commissioning.

Tell us what you're scaling.

Send the process, the stage you're at, and the question you're stuck on. You'll get an engineer's answer, not a sales sequence.
